Roman, retired Army Staff Sergeant that had his left leg amputated above the knee when wounded by an improvised explosive device while serving his third tour in Iraq in February of 2007. Roman, a purple heart recipient, plays sled hockey for Team USA and wheelchair basketball for ASNW’s Wheel Blazers wheelchair basketball team.
